Brian Skiba, Founder of Victory Angel Films won the coveted Arizona Filmmaker of the Year on April 4, 2011 at the Phoenix Film Festival in Scottsdale, Arizona

Phoenix, AZ – Brian Skiba, Founder of Victory Angel Films won the coveted Arizona Filmmaker of the Year on April 4, 2011 at the Phoenix Film Festival in Scottsdale, Arizona. To add to this great honor, the film Dirty Little Trick (Dean Cain, Michael Madsen, Christie Burson) Directed and written by Skiba, premiered at the Phoenix Film Festival to a sold out crowd. The showcased film was shot and produced entirely in Arizona where Skiba along with the majority of the cast and crew reside. Dirty Little Trick is just one of Victory Angel’s Arizona based projects.
Brian Skiba proclaimed, “I’m very humbled to have won the Arizona Filmmaker of the Year Award. I couldn’t have done this without all the support I have received over the years from fellow filmmakers. I want to thank everyone for being there and walking with me down this crazy road….Filmmaking is a team sport!”

Brian has directed, written and produced several other films. His most recent the drama Sweetwater (John Savage, William Katt, Dean Cain, and Holly Lynch) was shot in Cleburne, TX, Both Sweetwater and Skiba’s 2010 phoenix-filmed feature, Crushed Velvet (Laurie Love, Nicola Buck) are in postproduction.
